Michael John Hamel, 66, of Litchfield, NH died Monday October 22, 2018 at Southern NH Medical Center.
Born July 31, 1952 in Berlin, NH he was the son of the late Richard and Constance (Roy) Hamel.
Michael was an avid softball and hockey player in his youth and loved coaching his daughters on their sports teams. He enjoyed weekend boating and BBQing at the family camp, golfing, playing cribbage, and doing DIY projects with his sons-in-law. He was a big fan of the New England pro sports teams and Syracuse basketball, but above all else he enjoyed spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Donna (Nadeau) Hamel, of Litchfield; two daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie Gordon and her husband Nathaniel, of Arlington, MA and Jennifer Keddy and her husband Christopher, of Wakefield, MA; two grandchildren, Ivy and Cameron Keddy, both of Wakefield, MA; two brothers , Dennis Hamel and his wife Victoria of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Donald Hamel and his wife Lynda of Goffstown; his mother-in-law, Lillian Nadeau, of Nashua.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at The Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
