Obituary for Adwana "Aida" Eid

Adwana “Aida” (Tannous) Eid, 93, of Nashua died on April 5th, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH.
Daughter of the late Michael and Anastasia Tannous, she was born on January 1st, 1929 in Kfarkeddeh, Lebanon.
Before getting married and starting a family, Aida was employed as a school teacher for 8 years in Lebanon. After immigrating to the United States in 1987, Aida worked for many years as a chef at multiple Middle Eastern restaurants in the Boston area.

In her free time, Aida enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting, sewing, watching wrestling TV shows, going to the casino, and playing slots. She always made sure everyone was well fed and took home lots of food and baked goodies. She was the perfect example of Lebanese hospitality. Aida also enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandkids. Aida also loved flowers and plants. She always took meticulous care of her flower beds, plants, and arrangements whether it was in Lebanon or in the United States.

Aida was the dear and devoted wife of over 58 years of the late Diab G. Eid who died in 2020. Survivors include her two sons Tony Eid and his wife Mirna and George Eid and his wife Vicky, all of Nashua; five grandchildren Dody, Tony, George, Adriana, and Mia.

SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Friday April 8, 2022 from 9:30 - 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 E Dunstable Rd, Nashua, NH 03062. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am at the church immediately following visitation. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 West Hollis St., Nashua. The Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064 is in charge of arrangements. “ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER”.
