Obituary for Barbara Ann Foster (Borges)
Barbara Ann (Borges) Foster, 78, died April 25, 2023 at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua. She was born on May 21, 1944 in Cambridge MA, the daughter of Elmer Borges and Mildred M. Ranagan.
Barbara held many retail positions over the years and when she retired she was a Certified Nursing Assistant with Catholic Charities in Salem NH.
Barbara loved knitting, gardening, shopping, reading, but most of all spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was a proud Sister of the Jehovah Witness faith where she was an active member for 23 years.
In addition to her parents, Elmer & Mildred Borges, she was predeceased by her Nephew Brian Borges, a Brother-in-law William Taylor III, her Grandson Jason Meyers, and a Brother-in-law Yvon Langlois.
Survivors include her children: Michael P. Foster of Allenstown, Kelly & Eugene Meyers of Manchester, Lisa & Dave Slater of Nashua. Her Grandchildren: Anthony Foster, Jordyn & Ryan Dawson, Lacey Foster, Molly Meyers, Jacob Bordeleau & Sarah Sylvia, Annie Meyers, Josie Slater, Olivia Foster & Jaiden Slater. Also her 5 Great Grand Sons (+one on the way), Her Siblings: Al Borges, Jean Taylor, Kathleen Langlois and finally several nieces & nephews.
SERVICES: A Private Visitation will be, 12pm May 3rd, 2023 at Davis Funeral Home Nashua NH. A Funeral Service will be held 1pm May 3rd, 2023 at the Davis Funeral Home, Nashua. Interment will follow immediately to Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua NH.
A Public Memorial Service will be held on May 13th, 2023 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 282 Broad St, Hollis NH. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cancer Society.
