Obituary for Beverly June Caswell (Clarkson)

Beverly June (Clarkson) died September 30, 2019 at Greenbriar Healthcare at the age of 94 after complications from a fall. She was the wife of Merton Caswell who died in 2014. They had been married for 69 years.
Beverly was born in Nashua to Viola (Lambert) and Sidney Clarkson Sr. on May 29, 1925. She attended Nashua schools and was a graduate of Nahua High School in 1943. At an earlier age, Beverly worked on Food Stamp allotments during World War II at the Cudahy Packing Co. and also the Nashua Card Shop.
She married her husband Merton in 1944 and together they happily raised their three children. Her biggest delight was, “watching her children grow up to become the kind, thoughtful and generous people that they are.” She loved reading, especially historical novels; playing Scrabble, cooking, crocheting afghans, watching the birds, and getting together with family. Beverly was always concerned about the environment and she was very patriotic.
She was pre-deceased by her precious daughter Janet Rowlett in 1983, her brothers Douglas and Sidney Clarkson, Jr. and her sister Corine Chorney. She is survived by her daughter Linda and husband Lee Richard of Merrimack, her son Robert Caswell and his wife Deborah Zeigler of Haydenville, MA, her grandchildren Patrick Richard of Manchester, Jason Richard and his wife Stephanie of Merrimack, Michael Richard and his wife Kandi of N. Canton, OH, Tahra Diggs and her husband Jerome of Concord, NC and Mekoba Rowlett of Hudson, great-grandchildren Alexander, Emilee, Leo, Naishia, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Oleana, Ryan, Tiara, and Zachary, two brothers-in-law Millard Caswell and his wife Barbara of Boynton Beach, FL and Arthur Caswell of Nashua and a sister-in-law Therese Clarkson of Manchester, and several nieces and nephews.
At Beverly’s request, there will be no visiting hours and a memorial and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
