Obituary for Beverly Dorothy Paquin

Beverly D. Paquin, 89, formerly of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 24, 2021, after a long illness at Ridgewood Center, Bedford, NH.
She was born to the late Dorothy B. MacEachran and Clifford S. Rice on December 8, 1931. Beverly graduated from Manchester Central High School in 1950 and entered the Elliot Nursing School that same year.
Beverly was married to Edmond E. Paquin in 1951 until his death on September 12, 1973. She was a loving mother, wife and caregiver to Eddie for 17 years before his passing.
She is survived by five children: Robert D. Paquin and husband Daniel of Litchfield, Monna G. Howe of Merrimack, Mark E. Paquin and wife Donna of Nashua, Jeffrey A. Paquin of Concord, and Melissa M. Paquin-Beers of Hudson. She also leaves behind a sister, Janet L. Irwin of North Carolina, brother Robert A. Monticone of Texas, step-brother Stephen J. Monticone of Concord, cousin Lucille Randall Rice and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by George Monticone of Toronto and Freeman S. Rice of Concord.
Beverly had a passion for sewing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery and needlepoint, painting, gardening and cooking. She was part of the State of New Hampshire Foster Parent Program for several years, member of the Gold Star Wives, the Good Sam’s Club and the Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. She bred and raised Birman Cats under BevPur Birmans showing her kittens and generating several National Grand Champions.
She was a loving, giving woman, a very active member of The Sanctuary United Pentecostal Church in Hudson for over fifty years, where she could be found busy cooking for a crowd, taking on a sewing project or preparing for a fund raiser.
Most recently Beverly presided as Secretary of the Resident Council at Ridgewood Center, where she has resided these past few years.
There will be a private family viewing. Burial will take place at Hill’s Farm Cemetery in Hudson later this spring.
