Obituary for Theresa Gloria Prevost (Tardif)

Theresa "Terry" Gloria Tardif Prevost, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, age 92, died on December 12, 2019 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. She was born on June 5, 1927 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of Paul and Angeline (Valcourt) Tardif. She was the wife of Hector Henry Prevost. They were married on May 20, 1950 in Nashua, NH. She attended Nashua schools and worked for many years as a waitress. First at the famous Yankee Flyer, the Nashua Country Club and the Berkshire Inn. When she left waitressing, she worked for 18 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua as a supervisor, retiring at 65. She was an extraordinarily hard worker.
Terry was an avid reader and was very proud of her collection of hundreds of hardcover books. She had a sharp wit and was quick with a retort. She loved knitting and crocheting, frequently knitting mittens in a day so that her daughters would have a new pair to wear the next. She was an excellent cook, known for her delicious homemade piecrust. Her house was always full during the holidays where she prepared scrumptious meals for her family and extended family. She loved her family and was always their biggest supporter. She will be sorely missed.
Terry is survived by her children: Frank of New Smyrna Beach, FL, his wife, Carol; Sandra Pino and her husband Dominick of Medford, MA and Cathy Prevost of Nashua, NH; grandchildren Anthony Pino and Angelina Pino along with several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visitation will be at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St, Nashua, NH on Friday, December 20 from 8:30am-10:30am, followed by a Catholic Mass at 11:00 at St. Louis De Gonzague Parish, 48 West Hollis, St. Nashua. She will be interred with her husband, Hector at the NH Veteran’s Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
