Obituary for Sylvia Brennick (Margerison)

Sylvia A. (Margerison) Brennick, 92, of North Conway, NH passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on November 27, 1926 in Methuen, MA, a daughter of the late Walter and Ann (Berry) Margerison. She attended Searles High School in Methuen, MA and continued her education at Endicott College in Beverly, MA.
Syliva was the widow of Charles F. Brennick Sr. whom she married on December 5, 1955.
Sylvia worked in the mills for a few years as a mender, as a coat check girl in New York City, New York. After receiving her Licensed Practical Nursing degree, Sylvia worked as an LPN in the Massachusetts Hospitals and at the Mary Murphy nursing home where she met her husband, Charles Brennick, Sr. She also worked in interior design at New Medico Assoc.
Sylvia enjoyed ceramics, painting, knitting, crocheting, skiing, hiking, making records, needlepoint, and refinishing furniture.
In addition to her husband Charles, she was predeceased by a daughter, Gwendolyn Brennick, her oldest son, Charles Brennick Jr., a grandchild, Thomas A. Brennick, Jr., her brother, Walter A. Margerison and her sister, M. Evelyn (Margerison) Helfrich.
She is survived by her children, Frank Brennick, Jack Brennick and his wife Kim, Joseph Brennick, Judy Campbell and her husband Keith Campbell, Tom Brennick and his wife Stephanie, Steve Brennick and his wife Marion and the wife of the late Charles Jr., Dorrie Brennick; all her grandchildren, Dorrie, Charlie, Danny, Christine, Frankie, Kristine, Katylynn, Caroline, Jackie, Bobby, Keith Jr., Sylvia, Jimmy, Andrew, Steven, Kali and Max; her great-grandchildren, Baylee, Brodie, Rion, Silas, Logan, Beatrice, Colleen, Grace Ruth, and Everett; her step daughter, Karen Bates and her family Nick, Zach, Jeanette and Charley; her nieces, Cynthia, Diane, Beverly, Audrey, Nancy, Margaret, Kathy, Sheril, Faith, and Hope; and nephews, Vinney, Joe, Walter, and Doug.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Monday, December 2, 2019 at the Davis Funeral Home, One Lock St, Nashua, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, 10 am, at St. Christopher Church, 62 Manchester St, Nashua, NH. Burial will follow the service at Newton Cemetery and Arboretum, Newton Centre, MA. Family and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to a hospice charity of one’s choice.
