Obituary for Richard W Stone

Richard W. Stone, 85, of Nashua, beloved husband and best friend of Shirley (Goodspeed) Stone for 58 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for, and loved on January 6, 2020.
The son of Maurice L. and A. Christina (Parker) Stone, Richard was born in Jefferson, NH on February 3, 1934. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Linwood J. Stone and his sister, Joyce L. Stone.
A mechanic by trade, Richard worked as a security guard at the former Sanders (BAE). After retirement he enjoyed keeping occupied as a custodian at various retail stores. To Richard, his family was his pride and joy. He was the most happy when his family was all together. In addition to his wife Shirley, Richard is survived by his sons Kevin (Renelle) of Nashua, Jeffrey (Donna) Sr. of Merrimack, and Neil (Deb) of Nashua; his grandchildren, Meghan, Ashleigh, Allison, Jeffrey Jr., Cally, Blake and Ryan Mahaney; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and close friends who supported him through life’s journey.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua on Thursday, January 9, at 10 am. Friends and family are invited to attend. Interment Prayers and Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
