Obituary for Daron Edward Dickey

Daron Edward Dickey, 51, died March 9, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, N.H. He was born May 13, 1970, in Lowell, MA, the son of Robert and Donna Rae Dickey. He was the husband of Kathleen Marie Collins. They were married on October 9, 2000, in Hudson, N.H.

Daron grew up in Lowell, Ma, and attended Lowell High School. He spent the last 23 years with his family in Hudson, N.H. Daron, loved fishing, bike riding, roller skating at the “High Hat,” playing basketball and campfires with family and friends. He was well known in the Hudson softball community and loved coaching his daughter on the softball field. He had a loving connections to birds, loved long days at many different Beaches and rides to nowhere with Kathleen. He knew how to put a smile on most of everyone’s faces he met and touched so many hearts over the years.

Daron is predeceased by brothers Bobby Dickey and Scott Dickey Sr., father-in-law Glen W. Collins, uncle Charles “Sonny” Conway, aunt Nancy St. Pierre, cousin Ray Boisvert, and grandmother Helen LeBlanc.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen M. Collins, daughters Ashly L. Nobrega and Emelia “Bama” M. Dickey, brother-Brian Dickey Sr., mother-in-law-Bonita Collins, sister-in-law, Tracey Smith, aunt Debbie Cronin, uncle Timothy Cronin, cousins Christine Cronin Knox and Corey St. Pierre, nieces and nephews Tamra Smith, Talisha Smith, Scott Dickey Jr., Stephanie Wetherbee, Derrick Dickey, Carlos Dickey, and Brian “BJ” Dickey Jr., great-nieces and nephews Rayshawn, Letitia, David, Deondre, Serenity, Gregory, Natechell, Troy, Nora-Lee, Ahliana, Savena, Scotty III, Cateleya, and Jysaiah, and great-great-nieces and nephews, Royalty, and Meziah, family and close friends of the Nobregas, Tates, and the Shattucks, as well as many, many more.
