Obituary for David Alan Bushee

David A. Bushee, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 68, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 11, 1955, in Melrose, Massachusetts, to Ernest and Grace (Kirmes) Bushee. He married Donna (Sears) Bushee on March 31, 1978 in Burlington, Massachusetts. They enjoyed almost 45 years of marriage.

David graduated from Burlington High School in Massachusetts. He proudly and honorably served in the United States Air Force from September 18, 1973, to September 17, 1977, achieving the rank of Sergeant.
After his military service, David later pursued a successful career as the Director of Sales and Service at Sky Computers, where he made many lifelong friendships and built a reputation for his professionalism and dedication.

David had a deep appreciation for the natural world and enjoyed spending time in nature. He had a green thumb and spent many hours gardening and tending to his plants. He loved animals and spent time feeding the birds and birdwatching. He also enjoyed boating, camping and cooking excellent food for his family. His sense of humor and straightforward approach will always be remembered. Although he was very stoic, he was a sincerely kind and loving person.

David is predeceased by his parents, and his brother Bill Bushee.

Besides his loving wife, Donna, he is survived by his three daughters, Andrea Bushee and her husband Christopher Belanger, Cheryl and her husband Sam Donlon, and Darlene and her husband Mike Moriarty, grandchildren, Jackie, Justin, and Jules Belanger, Nora and Marie Donlon, Chloe Sprankle, and Jackson Moriarty, and brother Kenneth Bushee.

SERVICES: A visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St, Nashua, NH 03064. A procession will lead to the Chapel Service at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH, 03303 at 2pm. Military Rites will be accorded. Friends and family are invited to attend.
