Obituary for Dolores Helen St. Lawrence (Davis)

Dolores “Dee” St. Lawrence, 88, of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2022, with her family by her side. The oldest of three children, she was born April 25, 1933 to the late Reed and Elizabeth Davis in Rochester, New York. Dee was predeceased by her husband Neil St. Lawrence in 1985, with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.

Dee was a fun-loving dedicated mother who worked as many jobs as it took to provide for her family. She made many lifelong friends throughout her career at Sears & Roebuck. She spent 40 years managing the catalog department and then selling Kenmore appliances. Dee retired in 2000 to become the sweetest “Grammy” anyone could wish for. She often could be seen cheering on one of her grandchildren during a soccer game, football game, volleyball, gymnastics, and even a freezing cold hockey rink.

Above all things, Dee loved her family and friends. She enjoyed reminiscing and laughing out loud. She loved sewing dresses for her granddaughters, looking through family photos, and on any given day, when asked what she was up to, she replied, “well I need to make a path in here today”. She was quick witted and loved to tease. Family get togethers gave her great joy, and she has given all of us life long memories. Get ready dad, the “Saint” is marching in!

Dee’s loving family includes her three sons, two daughters, and their families: Stephen St. Lawrence, Tom St. Lawrence and his wife Claire, John St. Lawrence and his wife Sherri, Linda Crowell and her husband Jon, and Julie Martin and her husband Kelly. Her sister, Roberta Day, and three very special nieces, Kimberly Café, Karen Howarth, and Kathy Daigle. Nine grandchildren: Andrew Crowell (Stefni), Ryan St. Lawrence (Kim), Neil Crowell, AJ St. Lawrence (Danielle), Tyler Martin (Olivia), McKenzie Dee Crowell (Daniel), Cody Martin (Taylor), Scott St. Lawrence, Sarah St. Lawrence, and four great-grandchildren: Kyli Crowell, Maddi Crowell, Cameron St. Lawrence and Brooks St. Lawrence.
