Obituary for Donald Read Hawxwell

Donald Read Hawxwell, 72, passed away December 23, 2020, in his residence in Hudson, NH. He was born January 27, 1948 in Waterville, ME., the son of Tom and Elizabeth (Mclean) Hawxwell.

Donald graduated from Nashua High School, and went on to earn an Associates degree from Hesser College as well as attended some courses at Barrington College in Rhode Island.

Donald honorably served his country in the Army between April 1, 1968 and March 21, 1974, ending his deployment as a Sargent. He was active in Germany and served during Vietnam.

His employment centered around the sales of electronic communication services. He worked for Centronix, Printronix and retired after 26 years from BearCom.

Donald was a devoted Christian who loved the lord. He loved lighthouses and enjoyed gospel music, outdoor activities, and his motorcycle.

Donald is predeceased by his parents, brother Timothy Hawxwell, and nephew Nathan Doty.

He is survived by his son Tom, and his wife Amy, son Timothy and wife Katie, son Micheal and his wife Theresa, sisters Jean Paul, twin sister Donna and husband David Luce, and Rebekah Hawxwell; grandchildren Dakota, Colin, Kaden, Luke, Tyler, Ryan, Abigail, Nathan and Emily Hawxwell; closest cousin Read and his wife Betsy Mclean, and many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and great- nieces and nephews.
