Obituary for Edna Mary Dubowik (Lesiczka)
Edna Mary (Lesiczka) Dubowik, 92 of Goffstown, NH and formerly of Nashua, NH died Tuesday March 17, 2020 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
Born August 24, 1927 in Haverhill, MA she was the daughter of the late Ignacy and Agata (Stukus) Lesiczka and widow of Joseph Dubowik Jr., who died March 28, 1991. She was also predeceased by twin daughters, Kathleen and Karen Dubowik; sisters, Melania (Lesiczka) Dziura and Jennie (Lesiczka) Messina.
She was survived by her Daughter Linda (Dubowik) Clancy, her son Joseph M. Dubowik and her loving Grandson Ryan G. Clancy and his wife Alissa Clancy.
After graduating from Haverhill High School Edna attended McIntosh Business School. At one time, Edna was employed as a bookkeeper with the former Fleet Bank.
Most of her life was dedicated to caring for the love of her life, her son Joe who has down-syndrome. She enjoyed reading, baking, sewing, knitting as well as ball room and polka dancing. She also enjoyed taking care of her flower garden and was an avid Patriots fan.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held Friday from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Funeral Service will be conducted by Fr. Dan St. Laurent, Friday at 12:00 pm (immediately following visitation) in the chapel of the Davis Funeral Home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
