Obituary for Edward James Bracken
Edward James Bracken 81 of Litchfield, NH died Friday April 17, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
Born July 16, 1938 in Boston, MA he was the son of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kelly) Bracken. He was predeceased by his wife, Peg (McCarthy) Bracken who died March 15, 2013 and with whom he had been married for fifty-seven years.
He served in the United States Marines from 1958-1961.
Edward was self-employed architectural illustrator and owner of Bracken Architectural Renderings. He previously worked for the Bechtel Corporation. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a frequent diner at countless southern NH diners, including Talias, Janies, Suzies and Temple St. Diner.
Survivors include his son, Eddie Bracken, of Arlington, Virginia.
SERVICES: Private visiting hours will be held for the family. A private graveside service will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. A private Requiem Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Aaron Liebert FSSP at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church FSSP Church, 43 Franklin St., Nashua, NH 03064.
