Obituary for Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Goddard (Kennedy)
Elizabeth Ann (Kennedy) Goddard, 79, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua. She was born on October 20, 1939 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary C. (O’Connor) Kennedy.
She was the beloved wife of David Goddard
Liz was the matriarch of the family who did everything with grace and beauty. She enjoyed being at the beach and at their home in Tequesta, FL. Above all she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially over a good meal.
Along with her loving husband, David, she is survived by four children and their spouses, Karen Goddard of Nashua, Mark Goddard and wife Julie of Florida, Beth Murphy and husband Jim of Londonderry, and Brian Goddard and wife Joan of Maryland; five grandchildren and spouses, Keara Sexton of California, Lee Sexton of California, Liam Goddard and wife Kelly of Florida, Scott Murphy of Manchester, and Shayla Murphy of Londonderry; a great granddaughter, Bailey Rose Goddard of Florida, and an expected granddaughter, Riley Elizabeth Goddard of Florida.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22, 9-10:30am at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street in Nashua. A Funeral Service will follow visitation, 11am at The First Church (Congregational) UCC, One Concord Street in Nashua. Family and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation in Liz’s name to Nashua Soup Kitchen and Nashua Area Shelter, PO Box 3116, Nashua, NH 03061.
