Obituary for Ernest Euchariste Lozeau

Ernest Euchariste Lozeau, 95, died at the Fairview in Hudson, NH on Monday March 2, 2020.
Born in Nashua on October 1, 1924, he was the son of the late Euchariste and Elphema (Heroux) Lozeau. He was the husband of Marjorie Herbert Lozeau, of Nashua, for nearly 70 years with whom he married on August 20, 1950. Ernest was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Lozeau Fernandes, his brothers Edgar, Aurele, Albert, Raymond, and Robert as well as his sisters Claire and Yvonne.
Ernest attended catholic school at Sacred Heart Academy at St. Louis in Nashua. Following that, he went on to attend and graduate from Nashua High School.
He was a self-employed milkman and ice cream man at his family owned businesses, Ideal Dairy, Lozeau’s City Dairy, and Frosty Ice Cream Co. He also worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for a number of years.
Ernest was known as “Mr. Fix It”. He was a handyman who could fix just about anything. He loved to play Hockey and was team captain when he attended Sacred Heart Academy. Ernest won the St. Joseph’s Hospital craft award (Horse drawn milk wagon).
Besides his loving wife Marjorie, of almost 70 years, survivors include his sons Michael Lozeau and his wife Christina and their children Alexander Efstathiou, Todd Lozeau, Alison and Nick Delyani, Rachel and Matt Cataldo, son David Lozeau and his wife Donnalee and their children Jaime Arbogast, Kris and Molly Lozeau, Spencer and Amanda Lozeau, son Tim Lozeau and his wife Cindi and their children Briana and Sam Bruce, Karena Lozeau and Greg Lozeau, son Bob Lozeau and his wife Betty and their son John Michael Lozeau, Kathy’s husband Lane Fernandes and their son Rylan Fernandes; Great-grandchildren, Peyton and Teagan Arbogast, Summer Delyani, Natalie Lozeau and Lakelyn Bruce; Sister, Lillian (Lozeau) Worcester and Sister-in-law, Phyllis Lozeau and many other nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 7, 2020 at 10:00 am at St Louis De Gonzague Parish, 48 West Hollis St, Nashua, NH 03060. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may meet at the church. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst St, Nashua, NH 03064. Reception lunch will follow at Alpine Grove, Rt. 111a, Hollis New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Jimmy Fund. danafarber.jimmyfund.org.
