Obituary for George P. Briand Sr.
George P. Briand, 88, of Litchfield, NH passed away on September 26, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Hudson, NH on July 7, 1934, son of the late Thomas Briand and Marie (Savoie) Briand. He was the loving husband of Linda (Kendall) Briand for 52 years. They were married on June 27, 1970, in Hudson, NH.
George grew up in Hudson and was a graduate of Alvirne High School. He worked as a metal polisher for Nashua Brass and Bronze Craft for 45 years.
George loved listening to music. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to go camping, hunting, and fishing.
Aside from his parents, George is predeceased by two sons, Michael and James Briand, two grandsons: Jared and James Briand, and one granddaughter: Katie Lynn Tellier.
Survivors include his wife Linda Briand, 5 children: George Briand Jr., and his wife Terese of Hudson, Leo Briand and his wife Theresa of Litchfield, Paula Lawrence of Lee, Martha Tellier of Litchfield, and Georgette Massey and her husband Henry Lee of Warrior, AL. George also leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 10 am – 12 pm at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral service will immediately follow.
