Obituary for Helen M. Ross (Dutile)

Helen (Dutile) Ross, 93, passed away on July 23rd at Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson, NH. She was born on April 12, 1927 in Lowell, MA, the daughter of George Dutile and Cecile (Tremblay) Dutile.

She was a graduate of St. Anne’s Academy, Marlboro, MA. As an active member of St. Kathryn’s parish, she spent many years involved with the Church Crafters Group. She was a very creative woman who enjoyed tole painting, sewing, embroidery and all types of needlework. Her final years were spent at Fairview Nursing Home where she received excellent care for her failing health.

She is survived by her children, Richard Ross and his partner Stephen Campbell of Kittery, ME, Debra Ross and her partner Joan Claprood of Charlton, MA, Paul Ross and his wife Cindy of Bow, Scott Ross and his wife Corinne of Belmont, Julie Marston and her husband Kenneth of Hudson, William Ross and his wife Catherine of New London and Marie Nelson of Nashua. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Polly Dutile of Billerica, MA, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Kathryn’s Church, 4 Dracut Rd, Hudson, NH 03051 on Tuesday, August 4th at 10:00 am followed by a private burial. A memorial contribution can be made in Helen’s loving name to The Fairview Nursing Home, 203 Lowell Road, Hudson, NH 03051 (ATTN: Terry Barry).
