Obituary for Jane Pierson
Jane Church Pierson, 88, Nashua, NH. Died on June 7, 2022, after a long illness.
Predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Gladys Church; her sister, Priscilla Hoey; her grandson, Jordan Pierson. And by her dear friend, Edward Paier.
Survived by her son, Michael Pierson and his wife, Laura Barefield of Chelmsford, MA; her son, Eric Pierson and his wife, Beverley of Branson, MO: her grandson, Ethan Pierson, his wife, Katie, and their son, Noah, of Newton, KS.
Jane was an artist and illustrator, specializing in pet portraits and wildlife art. For more than thirty years, she managed the store at the Paier College of Art.
Jane lived most of her life in Connecticut, particularly in Guilford and Hamden.
She trained and showed dogs, especially poodles, with the Kenilworth Kennel Club. She was an avid reader and photographer, as well as a fan of a Gilbert and Sullivan.
