Obituary for Jean Wood (Bonnell)
Jean Ruth (Bonnell) Wood, 88, of Nashua, New Hampshire passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at her home. She was born on January 13, 1934, in Newark, New York, a daughter of the late William F. and Eureta (Trumbell) Bonnell. Jean was a graduate of Morrisville College in Morrisville, New York and received an associate degree in Food Service Administration.
She was the wife of the late Charles H. Wood who passed away on April 18, 2013.
Jean was the Director of Nutritional Services at the James Square Nursing Home for many years. She was a member of the Davie United Methodist Church in Davie, FL and Milford United Methodist Church in Milford, NH. Jean enjoyed serving other people, cooking and baking, and painting.
In addition to her parents, William and Eureta, and her husband, Charles H. Wood, she was predeceased by a son, Charles H Wood II, a sister, Josephine (Bonnell) Russell, and a brother, William Robert Bonnell.
Survivors include her children, Tamara Jean Hartman of Davie, FL and Kathryn Wood of Nashua; her grandchildren, Daniel Gryczka, Jonathan Gryczka, Joel Wood, Rebekah Miller, Anastassia Jean Wood, Kathryn Jean England, and Veronica Reczko; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 3:30 pm at Milford United Methodist Church, 327 N River Rd, Milford, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
