Obituary for Jean-Yves Turcotte

Jean-Yves Turcotte died on April 28, 2021 at 8:10 p.m. peacefully at his home in Nashua, New Hampshire. He was born on May 3, 1944 in Saint-Martin, Quebec, Canada, the son of Adalbert Turcotte and Germaine (Gilbert) Turcotte.

He was the husband of Véronique (Moisan) Turcotte. They were married on July 26, 1969 in Saint-Gédéon-de-Beauce, Québec, Canada. This year will mark their 52nd wedding anniversary.

As a tradesman, Jean-Yves spent most of his working life installing drywall for various businesses, including his own.

Jean-Yves enjoyed hunting and fishing, going to the races, watching the Boston Bruins, visiting his family and friends in Canada, spending nights at his camp watching the deer in his yard, and travelling.

He is predeceased by his parents; his son, Marco Turcotte; his brothers Germain, Richard, and Ivon Turcotte; and his sister Régine (Turcotte) Bolduc. Jean-Yves is survived by his wife, Véronique Turcotte; daughter Susie (Turcotte) Desrosiers; granddaughters Kayla and Katrina Desrosiers; and many siblings: Hélène Turcotte and her husband Noël Veilleux; Roger Turcotte and his wife Lisette Turcotte; Nicole Turcotte; Rita Turcotte and her husband Marc Morin; Therese Turcotte and her husband Mario Rancourt; Paul Turcotte and his wife Myrtha Cliche; and Johanne Turcotte and her husband André Poulin.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Saint Joseph’s Church, 777 W Hollis St, Nashua, NH. Healthy family and friends are invited to attend the service and masks are required.
