Obituary for John N Connary

John Norman Connary, 85, of Nashua, NH died peacefully on May 7, 2021 at Dartmouth Hitchcock medical center after a brief illness. John was born on March 23, 1936 in Lancaster, NH the youngest of four children of the late Howard and Anne Katherine (Platt) Connary. He was the loving husband of Beverly “Becky” (Chase) Connary for 48 years. They were married on May 19, 1973.
John was a graduate of Stratford High School. He then attended Franklin Pierce University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Management. John joined the air force in 1956. After serving for 4 years during the Vietnam war, John began working at Sanders. John also worked at Lockheed Martin for some time and eventually retired from BAE systems after 40 years.
John was a very generous, kind, and hardworking man. He enjoyed collecting coins, hunting, fishing and traveling in his spare time.
John was predeceased by his brother Maurice P. Connary, and sisters Anne M. Connary and Constance Connary.
Survivors include John’s wife, Becky of Nashua and their son Derek Alan. John is also survived by many nieces, nephew, and cousins.

SERVICES: A private service will be held for the family at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name can be made to the Salvation Army, 1 Montgomery Avenue, Nashua, NH 03060.
