Obituary for Joshua R. Wilson
Joshua Ryan Wilson, 44, of Townsend, MA, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born on August 4th, 1977, in Nashua NH.
He is the son of Bonnie (Allen) Wilson-Bowes, and Robert Bowes of Francestown, NH and Russell Wilson of Lunenburg, Massachusetts.
A graduate of Middlesex High School in Townsend MA, he was employed as a Land Surveyor for 22 years. Whether working or playing Josh preferred being outdoors.
Josh grew up in Nashua. He played baseball, karate, loved camping and enjoyed spending his summers at Camp Sargent. He attended Sunday school and enjoyed the Church of Good of Shepherd activities as a youth.
His adult vacations were enjoyed in Point Judith, Snug Harbor, Block Island, and Narragansett, Rhode Island; fishing and boogie boarding.
He loved growing a garden every summer. He loved cooking, an avid home chef, self-taught by the Food Network. He was always sharing a recipe to all on Facebook, with photos of his latest creation.
Josh is survived by his parents Bonnie Wilson-Bowes, Robert Bowes and Russell Wilson. He is also survived by his brother Jason Wilson and his wife Aimee, of Shrewsbury Massachusetts. He leaves behind many wonderful Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
SERVICES: A funeral service at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St, Nashua, NH, will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 10:30 am. A procession and internment at Evergreen Cemetery, 391 Main St., Nashua, NH, will directly follow. Friends and family are invited to attend.
