Obituary for Judith Ann Simonds (Myers)

Judith Ann Simonds, 80, died Monday, May 10, 2021, at the Arbors of Bedford, where she had been residing, in Bedford, NH. She was born September 4, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH., the daughter of Daniel and Jane (Axtmann) Myers.

Judith earned her Master's in Education. She took her education and became a proud teacher of first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades at Ledge Street School in Nashua, NH. She taught from 1979 until 2001 when she retired.

She was an exceptional artist, with an expertise in water color and colored pencils. Her love of beauty extended into her affinity of poetry, smelling beautiful flowers, and dressing in nice clothes for occasions like the opera or plays. When she wasn’t creating or appreciating the arts, she enjoyed her book club, traveling, attending and helping out at the Church of the Good Shepard in Nashua, NH., and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Judith is survived by her son Eric Bouldin; sisters Donna Jean Powell, Nancy Myers-Holtz; nephews Jeff and David Powell, Dana and Max Bridenbaker, and niece Leslie Powell.
