Obituary for Karen Anne Landry-Mazur

Karen Anne Landry-Mazur, 76 a life-long resident of Nashua, NH passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was born February 24, 1946, to the parents Thomas H. Malone and Winifred M. (Beauregard) Malone. She was married to Edward Mazur who had just recently predeceased her on December 30, 2021. They enjoyed 14 years of marriage.

Karen was educated in the Nashua school system and was a Mount Saint Mary graduate class of 1964. She attended Castle College in Windham where she received an Associate’s Degree. She worked at Fleet Bank for 11 ½ years before she left the business world to peruse a CNA degree in nursing. This was Karen’s true calling, and one she took great pride in. She worked at Southern NH Medical Center in the Endoscopy Unit as well as for many local nursing agencies including Home Health and Hospice. Karen especially loved providing elder care for her private duty patients, many of which she had for several years.

To Karen family was everything. She enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Her giving spirit was always reflected in the time, care and dedication that she showed to them. Karen enjoyed watching sporting events, visiting the beach and dining with her beloved Ed. She was a people person and never forgot a face. With Karen conversation was easy and she was always willing to share a moment of her time to connect with others. She will forever be remembered for her bubbly personality, beautiful smile and excitement in all simple little things in life.

Karen is survived by her daughters Kristina Landry-Turck and her husband Brian, Jennifer Dunn and her husband Robert as well as her daughter by choice Trisha Rodriguez and her husband Martin. She will forever be “Kamy” to Madison Dunn, Jackson Turck, Harrison Turck and Hayden Turck.
