Obituary for Kathleen Hansbury (Jones)
Kathleen Frances Hansbury, 80, 0f Nashua died at home surrounded by her family on Thursday October 15, 2020. She was born in West Newton, MA on February 2, 1940 to the late William J. Jones and Rose (Hart) Jones. She was the loving wife of the late Richard F. Hansbury. They were married on July 21, 1960.
Kathleen attended St. Bernard’s in West Newton, Ma where she received her high school diploma. Following high school, Kathleen went on to be an executive secretary at St. Joseph Hospital. She was very proud to have held that position.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and yardwork, especially outdoor decorating. She loved to play Bingo and go on trips down to Foxwoods. Kathleen was a person who loved the outdoors. She would often take trips with her grandchildren to Lake Sebago and Pinpoint Light House in Maine. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Besides her parents and husband, Kathleen is predeceased by her son Thomas Hansbury, and sisters Margeret Paquin and Eileen Biggerstaff.
Survivors include her Daughter Karen A. Blaney and her husband Leo J. Blaney of Nashua. She also leaves behind her brother William J Jones of Oregon. She is also survived by 8 loving grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
SERVICES: A walk through Visitation will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 from 6-8 PM at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St, Nashua, NH 03064. Due to COVID restrictions all guests entering the funeral home will be required to wear face masks and follow social distancing. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 9:30 AM at the Parish of the Resurrection, 449 Broad St, Nashua, NH 03063. For those not able to attend in person the funeral will also be live streamed at https://www.parishoftheresurrection.org. Following the funeral mass interment will take place at Edgewood Cemetery, 107 Amherst St, Nashua, NH 03064. Family and friends are invited to attend.
