Obituary for Layla Marie Monroy
Layla Marie Monroy, 14, of Nashua passed away on November 14, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Nashua on March 30, 2008, daughter of Sergio Monroy and Silvia (Ruiz) Monroy.
Layla grew up in Nashua and attended Broad Street and Amherst Street Elementary School. She later attended Fairgrounds Middle School and Nashua High School South. Layla was also member of St. Louis De Gonzague Church.
Layla loved music, whether that be singing, dancing, or just listening to it. She will be always be remembered as a ray of sunshine with an infectious smile and laugh.
She is predeceased by both her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
Survivors include her parents Silvia and Sergio Monroy. She also leaves behind her siblings Yesenia Monroy, Irvin Monroy, Sergio Monroy, and Kylee McAlister, as well as maternal grandmother and various beloved cousins, aunts, and uncles.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, from 6-8pm at Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 10am at St. Louis De Gonzague Church, 48 W Hollis St., Nashua, NH 03064. Interment and committal prayers will immediately follow at St. Louis Cemetery Nashua, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements. “ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER”.
