Obituary for Lillian Florence Nadeau (Descoteaux)

Lillian F. Nadeau, 88, of Nashua, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Nashua Crossing Assisted Living in Nashua. She was born on January 1, 1931. She was the beloved wife of the late Yvon Nadeau who passed away in 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother as well as a wonderful friend to all that knew her. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Lillian attended Nashua City Schools and graduated from Nashua High School.

Lillian loved traveling with Yvon throughout the world having been to Europe six times. They had also wintered in Florida for 27 years. Lillian was an avid golfer who was a longtime member of Amherst Country Club and later Ponemah Green. She was a member of the Nashua Senior Center. She enjoyed playing cribbage as well as doing puzzles and was known as the “Puzzle Queen” at Nashua Crossing.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Rubin, Donna Hamel, Linda List and her husband Michael, Brenda Goudreau and her husband Gary; her grandchildren, Christopher Rubin, Patrick Rubin and Kaitlyn Rubin; Stephanie Gordon, Jennifer Keddy, Jeffrey List, Justin List, Whitney Goudreau, Tiffany Goudreau, Taylor Goudreau, her great grandchildren, Ivy and Cameron Keddy, Ava and Owen List, Pierce and Harper Gordon, and Easton List; her sister-in-law, Jeanne Nadeau; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

SERVICES: Memorial Visitation will be held at Davis Funeral Home, One Lock Street in Nashua, on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 5-7pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Christopher Parish, 62 Manchester Street in Nashua, on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 10am. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment prayers and burial will follow at St. Francis Cemetery in Nashua. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to The American Lung Association.
