Obituary for Lonnie Van Davis (Davis) Sr.
Lonnie Van Davis was born on June 22, 1961 the son of Andrew Davis, Sr. and the late Dolores Davis. He departed this life on Thursday, April 4, 2019.
Lonnie attended Nashua High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He enjoyed his work as a private contractor and was a huge presence in the lives of all who met him. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, the Wildlife Channel, old western movies and celebrating life with his friends and family.
Lonnie was a lovable soul with an infectious smile who was devoted to his children he will always be cherished, deeply loved and forever remembered. He was a loving and caring brother to his siblings.
Lonnie was survived by his children; Lonnie Jr., Daniel (Rebecca Rodier) and Jaime, four grandchildren; Deonna Davis, Daniel Davis, Jr., Harry Wun and Kylla Wun, father Andrew Davis Sr. (devoted wife Lula Davis), two sisters; Pamela Washington (Tim Washington), Jacqueline Jett (Bobby Jett), two brothers; Wesley Davis, Andrew Davis, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 12:00 pm at the New Fellowship Baptist Church, 50 Ash St., Nashua, NH 03060. A visitation will be held at the New Fellowship Church from (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) prior to services. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua, NH. The Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064 is in charge of arrangements.
