Obituary for Madeleine J Gingras (Lesieur)
Madeleine J. Gingras, age 84, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2019 at the Courville Nursing Home in Nashua. She was born on May 20, 1935 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of the late Leo and Jeannette (Maynard) Lesieur.
Madeleine was a school teacher in the Nashua school district for 39 years. She touched the hearts of each and every student that she taught. She treated each child like they were her own. She loved her family and lived for her grandchildren. They were her entire world and she was a key aspect in every part of their life and upbringing. Madeleine was a true caretaker.
She was predeceased by her late husband, Robert Gingras who passed away in November of 1999.
Madeleine is survived by her children and their spouses, Michael Gingras of Nashua, Susan Gingras of Nashua and Kevin Gingras and his wife Nancy of West Roxbury, MA; grandchildren Kameron and Robbi Gingras; sister Jacqueline Maynard of Nashua; sister in law Elinor Lesieur of Nashua and a brother in law Raymond Gingras of Barrington. Madeleine also leaves behind many other loving extended family members and dear friends.
SERVICES: All are welcome to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 10:00AM at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, 32 Pinehill Ave., Nashua. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Madeleine’s name are encouraged to be sent to Sisters of the Holy Cross, Development Office, 365 Island Pond Rd., Manchester, NH 03109 or online at www.sistersoftheholycross.org.
