Obituary for Margaret Ellen Gibbons (Wilmot)
Margaret Ellen (Wilmot) Gibbons, age 82, of Nashua, passed away at Premier Rehab on May 1, 2023. She was the widow of David Gibbons who died in 1997.
She was born in Middletown, CT on October 22, 1940, daughter of the late Willard & Gertrude (Ferguson) Wilmot. She was a graduate of Alvirne High School in Hudson.
Prior to her retirement, Margaret worked for many years in retail sales, including Rich’s Department Stores and Walmart.
She enjoyed walks on the beach, arts & crafts, cooking, shopping, and word games.
She is survived by her sons: Matthew, Mark and Marcel Couturier; grandchildren: Andrew, Stephen, Samuel, Christopher, Mark, Jessica, Heather and Lauren Couturier; seven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; her brother: Gerald Wilmot; nieces: Trudy Reno, and Robin Laquerre; nephews: David Wilmot, Kenneth and Joshua Vanderbeck. She was preceded in death by a son Michael Couturier, sisters Leota (Lee) Meitzner and Hazel Smith, brother Donald Wilmot, niece Sheila Wilmot and grandson Eric Couturier.
SERVICES: Relatives & Friends are invited to her Memorial Visitation on Wednesday May 10, 2023 from 5:00 ~ 7:00 PM at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. Interment is private.
