Obituary for Marie Elaine Robicheau (Albano)

Marie Elaine (Albano) Robicheau of Nashua, New Hampshire, died January 24, 2024 in Nashua. Marie was born December 9, 1935 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late Vincent and Mary Albano. She was the wife of Ronald P. Robicheau Sr., who passed away on November 9, 2022. They were married for 68 years, having wed on May 22, 1954 in Cambridge, Mass.

There are not enough words to describe the beautiful, kind and loving Marie Robicheau. She loved her family fiercely and was overjoyed to spend time with her many grandchildren. To those outside her family whose lives she touched, Marie is remembered for her joyful whistling, her infectious laugh and her sweet demeanor. Marie would speak daily about her most treasured memories, which were filled with days singing Italian songs, making her scratch made pasta sauce and favorite Portuguese delights. Also, she would speak of long, sunny days walking the sandy beaches of New Hampshire, Maine and Florida. Her memories of days past were always filled with her twin sister and siblings. Marie was a gifted painter and shared many of her masterpieces with her family. She was an avid reader and loved watching her favorite shows, most recently becoming a Mega Fan of Yellowstone. In the most recent years, Marie would often say “Don’t worry, be happy”. This mantra was not just a way to help herself through difficult days, it was also a wish she bestowed on her grandchildren daily. Marie will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Besides her parents and husband, Ronald, Marie was predeceased by her son Paul, a twin sister, Nancy, her sister Teresa, her brothers Raymond, Jackie, and Richard.

Marie is survived by her children, Debra and Robert, with whom she resided, Denise and her husband, Raymond, Diane and her husband Richard, John and his wife, Lori. Marie was also survived by 13 grandchildren: Kerry, Christine, Ray, Renee T., Terry, Steven, David, Renee M., Dylan, Jillian, Emily, Brian and Kylie.
