Obituary for Marjorie I. Donnelly (Greening)

Marjorie I. Donnelly, 80, formerly of Nashua, NH died on Thursday December 19, 2019 at Pine Hill
Assisted Living Facility. She was born on June 2, 1939 to the late Herbert and Agnes (Olsen) Donnelly).

She was a graduate of Mount St. Mary High School. Marjorie went on to receive two bachelor’s degree from Rivier University. She furthered her education by obtaining two master’s degree at St. Michaels College and Salem State University, majoring in Theology and Social Work.

Marjorie worked was a M.S.W. Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the Palm Manor nursing home in Chelmsford, MA.

In her free time Marjorie enjoyed attending church where she served as a eucharistic minister and a lector on Sunday services. She was an active member and also a former seven-year President for the Manchester, NH Diocese at World Apostolate of Fatima, (Our Lady’s Blue Army)

She loved spending summers at Shaw Pond in Wolfeboro, and Hampton Beach, NH with her family

Marjorie was predeceased by her former husband Howard Greening, two brothers Gregg and Alan Donnelly, her daughter Nancy and her husband Robert Post, her aunts Loretta and Ella, her uncle Walter Olson, and her grandson A.J. Johnson.

Surviving family members include her siblings Carolyn McCormack, Paul Donnelly, Cindy Lambert and Steven Donnelly. Her daughters Brenda Greening and her husband Guy Cailyer, Sandra and her husband Albert Johnson Jr., Marilynn and her husband Stephen Larkin. Her grandchildren Tammi, Patricia, Derek, Krista, Kelsey, and Stephen Jr; and her great grandchildren James, Nicholas, Shane, Kailey, Angelia, Sebastian, Hailey, and Raelynn, aunt Dr. Pauline Olsen as well as several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Thursday December 26, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St. Nashua, NH 03064. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday December 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua, NH 03060. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and meet at the church. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 102 Derry St., Hudson, NH 03051.
