Obituary for Mary Evangeline Frame (Crowder)

Mary Evangeline (Crowder) Frame, 90, died on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown, NH. She was born on May 8, 1930 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, daughter of the late Rev. Ernest E. and Ruby E. (Kitterman) Crowder.

She was the loving wife of the late Elvin L. Frame who passed on December 23, 2011. They were married on March 10, 1964 in Greenfield, Indiana.

After graduating High School and before marriage, Mary worked for many years at Alcoa. After marriage she turned her focus to family and became a stay-at-home wife and mother.

Mary enjoyed playing piano and organ, and sang at church for many years. She also enjoyed reading, art, and birdwatching.

Along with her husband of over 47 years, Elvin, she was predeceased by eleven of her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Horsburgh and husband Steve of Hudson, NH; brother and sister-in-law, Paul Crowder and wife Carolyn of Grafton, OH; two grandchildren, Richard and Wendy Horsburgh of Hudson, NH; as well as many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A walk-through visitation will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 from 1-2pm at Smith-McQuiston and Webster Funeral Home in Fountain City, Indiana. Due to COVID restrictions all guests entering the funeral home will be required to wear face masks and follow social distancing guidelines. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 2pm on Friday followed by interment at Webster Cemetery in Webster, Indiana.
