Obituary

Obituary for Maurice Raymond Trombly

Maurice R. Trombly, 95, a lifelong resident of Nashua, NH passed away on December 18th.
“Moe” had a life of music which brought joy to many in his assisted living facility as well as to weddings and events throughout his lifetime. He had a talent for building (a home for his family and many holiday gifts). The grandfather clocks for each of his children continue to be treasured and enjoyed. Maurice was a proud WWII Naval veteran who served in the South Pacific theatre.
Maurice is predeceased by his wife (Madeleine Plante) Trombly with whom he shared 68 years of love, travel and adventure. He also leaves behind three children, Denise L. Trombly of Nashua, Philip Trombly and his wife Denise also of Nashua, Lisa Quinn and her husband John, of Hudson. His grandchildren, Jessica Gatgens and her husband Luis, Matthew Trombly who predeceased him, his wife Maggie Morris Trombly, Andrew Trombly and his fiancé Chelsea Cota and Kelly McNeill and her husband Michael of Reading Mass. They will always remember their Pep as a special person in their lives. Five great grandchildren, Grace & Max Trombly , Mia and Sam Gatgens and Brayden McNeill, already a music fan will carry on his legacy.
Many nieces, nephews and cousins will also miss a loving, caring and generous man.
The family would like to thank the people who brought joy and caring to his last years: Visiting Angels, Brenda Mulligan and Octavia Dones as well as the entire staff of Laurel Place. We will be forever grateful for their kindness and generosity. They truly made a difference.

My sincerest condolences to the Trombly family. While I never met Mr. Maurice Trombly, I virtually know the entire Trombly family in the Nashua area. Maurice’s son, Phillip, father of Jessica, Matthew and Andy and great husband to Denise (a great woman) is a very warm, kind and hard working person. I think this is a testament in part to what a great father Maurice was. My thoughts are with Phillip and the entire Trombly family during this difficult time. May Maurice rest in piece.

Our condolences to all of the family. Having known his daughter, Denise Trombly, for a long while we've heard stories of his kindness and effervescent spirit, qualities which shone through in Denise as well. He was clearly an incredible man and will be greatly missed. May his soul rest in peace
