Obituary for Nancy Jean Gibson (Abbott)
Nancy Jean (Abbott) Gibson, 85, of Hudson died on Thursday July 30, 2020 at her home in Hudson surrounded by her family.
She was born on January 4, 1935 in Nashua to the late Kenneth Tolles Abbott and Hilda (English) Abbott. Nancy was the wife of the late Paul B. Gibson Jr. who passed away in 1991.
Nancy was a crafty lady whom enjoyed knitting, sewing, crocheting, and creating numerous family quilts over the years. She was very talented and even created bicycling costumes from the late 1880’s - 1890’s era.
Nancy was predeceased by her daughter Kathy Hinrichs who passed in 2012.
She is survived by 3 sons including Dana, David, and Glenn, one son-in-law Mark Hinrichs, and numerous grand children and great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10:00 am at the Hills Farm Cemetery, 160 Derry Rd. Hudson, NH 03051 Family and friends are invited to attend. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements. “ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER”.
