Obituary for Patricia Ann Hurd (Frank)
Patricia A. (Frank) Hurd, 86, of Nashua, NH passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Bedford Hills Nursing Home in Bedford, NH. She was born in Nashua, NH on April 24, 1937, a daughter of the late Robert and Beulah Frank.
Patricia attended the Perkins School for the Blind in her younger years and was a graduate of Nashua High School. She was wife of Pastor Donald Hurd, who passed away in 2004. Patricia had been a longtime employee of J.F. McElwain Shoe Company in Nashua and worked in housekeeping at Daniel Webster College in Nashua as well.
She was a longtime member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Nashua, NH. In her younger years, Patricia had been a member at Main Street United Methodist Church in Nashua and was a member of the Rebecca’s. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the church choirs, taught Sunday School, and was heavily involved in church activities. Patricia also was skilled as a HAM Radio Operator.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jackie Meloney and Connie Lewis, and her brother, Kenneth Frank.
Patricia is survived by her son, Gary Hurd and his wife Stephanie; her grandchildren, Melinda Hurd and Melanie Hurd; her brother, James Frank; several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 2 pm at Edgewood Cemetery, Nashua. Family and friends are invited to attend.
