Obituary for Patricia Helen McDonough (Laplante)
Patricia ( Laplante) McDonough was a graduate of Lawrence High School and worked as a real estate agent and office manager for many years.
She loved owls, dragons and beenie babies and collected many in her lifetime.
When she was younger she would love to spend time on her Harley trike riding around Lawrence. Or at Rye Beach looking for unique rocks, shells and sea glass with her kids. Afterwards, she would crank up Queen on the radio on the way to Browns for a lobster or Skip's hamburger stand before heading home. In fact Skip's became a tradition that was handed down 3 generations starting with Patti, until they sadly closed last year.
Patti spent many a summer with her husband Jimmy and family at their favorite campground. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching her beloved New England Patriots on TV.
She was loved in life by her husband James McDonough and her children and their families including Sheila Cryts and her husband Robert, Samantha Chojnacki (deceased), Gretchen Chojnacki and her partner Emilio, and Jon Weglarz and his wife Sharon. She also will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Brittany Black and her husband Bryan, Josh Landry, Jon Weglarz Jr, Jordan Landry, Lexus Weglarz, Nick Weglarz, Jayden Crawford and Aryanna Cryts as well as her great grandchildren Grace and Mackenzie Black. And, we can't forget her beloved Chihuahua Milo whom she loved very much.
