Obituary for Paul Edward Grigas

Paul Edward Grigas, of Nashua NH, died peacefully in his sleep on May 24, 2019 at the age of 80. He was married to his devoted wife Andrea D. Grigas for 59 years, and was a kind, loving father of their two children – Michael D. Grigas and Kelly Grigas-Cleaver. Paul adored and cherished his grandsons Aleksander and Luka Grigas-Cleaver of Wellington, New Zealand.

His sense of adventure prompted trips to various overseas destinations, generally nearby to a beach – where he regularly swam long distances. Paul loved spending time in his garden and listening to old music. He was a collector of fine antiques and enjoyed renovating houses. Paul’s easy-going, light-hearted personality made family always feel at ease, and friends feeling always welcome and happy.
He was a hard working, self-employed businessman, working mainly in the real estate and building industry for many years.
In addition to his wife, children and grandsons, Paul is survived by his sisters, Diane Statkum and Janet McShea, both of Nashua. Along with his parents, Anthony Grigas & Mary (Vainauskas) Grigas, Paul is predeceased by his siblings Thomas, Betty Jane and Jonathan Grigas.
The world has lost an amazing husband, father and grandfather, who has always been there for us. He has taught us patience, tolerance, kindness, calmness and love.
