Obituary for Phyllis M. Houle
Phyllis M. Houle, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 90.
Phyllis was born on May 3, 1932, in Nashua, NH, to the late Ferdinand and Angeline (Charron) Dumont. She attended Infant Jesus School in Nashua, NH. On May 30, 1953, she married Lionel Levesque. They enjoyed 15 years of marriage and had 5 children before his untimely passing in 1968.
In 1974 she married Andrew Houle and they had one child. After about 9 years they parted ways.
Phyllis was a devout Catholic and an active member of her church, where she volunteered for various church activities. She also enjoyed many crafts, such as sewing, making quilts, and knitting. Her family and friends always cherished the beautiful and intricate pieces she created. Phyllis was a loving mother and woman, who always put her family first. She was deeply loved and will be missed.
Phyllis is predeceased by her first husband Lionel, daughter Andrea (Houle) Iannotti, brothers Robert, Norman, Roger, Maurice and David Dumont, and grandson James Frost Jr.
She is survived by her sister Marie Houle (husband Jacques), and children Susan Goodman (husband Dennis), Lionel "Pete" Levesque Jr., Norm Levesque (wife Debbie), Carole Valley (husband Steve), Michael Levesque (wife Susanne), 12 grandchildren, a growing list of great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will take place, Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E. Dunstable Rd, Nashua, NH 03062. After the Mass, a procession will lead to St Francis Cemetery, 32 Pinehill Rd, Nashua, NH 03064 for the interment. Friends and family are invited to attend.
