Obituary for Priscilla J. (Hall) (Jones) Briand
Priscilla J. (Hall)(Jones) Briand, age 70, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of Nashua, NH, passed away in Florida January 27, 2023. She was the widow of Alfred D. Briand, with whom she shared 22 years of marriage until his passing Nov. 13, 2015.
She was born in Nashua on November 13, 1952, daughter of the late Earl Norris and Lillian Pilsbery (Sherwin) Hall.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a store manager for JoAnn Fabrics and then Dollar Tree Stores in the area. Her first job was working in the mailroom at the Nashua Telegraph.
Priscilla enjoyed sewing and arts & crafts. She collected Raggedy Ann dolls, she was also known to make them and sell them at various places.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Jones and Matthew Jones ; a stepson, Jeffrey Briand and his wife, Vina; a sister, Phyllis (Hall) Britton; a brother in law Ralph Ford; a sister in law Kathy Hall; 6 grandchildren Kassidy Briand , Brandon Jones and his wife, Alexia, Savanna Jones, Coty Dube and Alexis Haight; two great-grandchildren, Kaylen and Kassidy; also her former husband, James M. Jones; many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. She was sister of the late Barbara Ford, Beverly Connery, Warren Hall and Norman Hall; she also lost her daughter-in-law, Sabrina (Briand) Jones who passed two-weeks prior on Jan. 14, 2023.
SERVICES: Relatives & Friends are warmly invited to gather from 9:30 until 10:30 am for a visiting hour for Priscilla together with her daughter-in-law Sabrina Jones on Saturday April 15, 2023 at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064; a prayer service will begin in the Funeral Home at 10:30 am, with graveside committal prayers to follow at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St., Nashua.
