Obituary for Rafael Desani Snyder
Rafael Desani Snyder, 19 months old, passed away due to an undiagnosed genetic condition on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at Children’s Hospital in Boston. He was born on July 24th, 2018 in Manchester, NH.
Rafa loved listening to music (Let’s Go Swimming was a hit!), balloons, dinosaurs, swimming pools, traveling and snuggles. He frequently gave big smiles and laughs when surrounded by his family and friends. As a member of the Tiny Superheroes Squad, Super Rafa lived up to his name by using his baby blue eyeglasses and voluminous hair to make friends with everyone he met, including his numerous doctors, nurses, and therapists. Rafa gave his family and friends strength as he bravely persisted through continual medical interventions and inspired hope within all who followed his journey.
He is survived by his parents, Kevin Snyder and Vanessa Desani; his maternal great grandparents José Desani and Carmen Desani; his paternal grandparents Rob Snyder and Marsha Snyder; his maternal grandparents Luiz Desani and Alice Desani; his uncles Andrew, Tim, Colin and Rodrigo; his aunts Lindsey and Vanessa; and his cousins Luiz Paulo and Yasmin.

Due to the Coronavirus situation, we are postponing a service for Rafa at this time.
