Obituary for Rita Wardner (Hufnagle)

Rita Louise (Hufnagle) Wardner, died Friday, January 24th 2020, at Villa Crest Nursing Home in Manchester at the age of 89. She was born May 22, 1930, in Brighton Ma., the daughter of William and Katherine Hufnagle.
She was the wife of Robert Wardner (deceased). They were married in Nashua N.H.
Rita’s love of cooking drove her to work in the catering business, where she worked for several companies throughout the years. When she wasn’t feeding people, she enjoyed playing Bingo for leisure.
Rita is predeceased by her sisters Mary Pointer and Julia O’Hara, her brothers James and Francis Hufnagle and one grandchild, Jason Smith.
Rita is survived by her son James F. Smith and Kenneth J. Smith of Florida, son C. Foster Smith of Nashua, N.H, Daniel T. Smith and wife Cathy of Tamworth, N.H, daughter Elizabeth Morrison of Maine as well as 9 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: Services were postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions, but a graveside service is now rescheduled for Friday, August 21, 2020 at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St, Nashua, NH 03060.
