Robert G. “Bob” Ledbetter, 81, died at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack on Wednesday, April 22, 2020. He was born on August 23, 1938 in Dallas, Texas, son of the late Robert Miles and Sally (Smith) Ledbetter.
He was the beloved husband of Reva (Hartin) Ledbetter. They were married in Sacramento, CA on May 28, 1966.
Bob proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961 through 1985. He was well educated having earned his BSCE in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin, then going on to study computer science at Michigan Tech, and finally completing studies for his Masters of Business Administration from St. Mary College in Omaha, NE. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for several years as a computer scientist for Mitre Corp in MA, as well as GTE Government Systems in Colorado Springs, CO.
In his free time Bob enjoyed playing softball, gardening, and spending time with his family.
He was predeceased by his daughter Tracy Lynn.
Along with his loving wife, Reva, he is survived by his son, Robert Miles Ledbetter of NH; daughter, Sara Ledbetter of Denmark; three grandchildren, Amalie, Sander, and Katelyn; as well as several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be held at Crossway Christian Church, followed by interment prayers and military honors at NH State Veterans Cemetery when it is safe to allow the public to attend.
