Obituary for Robert W. McGuiness
Robert William McGuiness, 77, of Nashua, NH died on March 2, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, NH. He was Born May 16, 1943 in Boston, MA to Robert T. and Edna (Hachey) McGuiness.
Robert was the loving husband of the late Sylvia (De la Cruz) McGuiness for over 55 years.
Bob is predeceased by his son Michael W. McGuiness of Nashua, NH and his brother Richard J. McGuiness of Norwood, MA.
Bob is survived by sons Victor McGuiness of Nashua, NH and Robert McGuiness and his partner Sharon Blair of La Jolla, CA. Granddaughter Audrey (McGuiness) and husband Matthew Day of Pittsfield, NH. Brothers and sisters; Beverly O’ Loughlin of Brighton, MA; Thomas and Linda McGuiness of Hampton, NH; Jack and Donna McGuiness of Nashua, NH; Joan and Bill Aucoin of Brighton, MA; Mary and Ken Cutler of Milford, NH; Kathy and Neil Sullivan of Rowley, MA; sister-in-law Sandy McGuiness of Norwood, MA., and many nieces and nephews.
Bob enjoyed reading, camping, fishing, cruising and Friday nights at the garage. Bob was a graduate of Brighton High School
Class of ’61. He served in the Air Force from 1961 - 1988. He was currently employed at Peters Nissan of Nashua, NH.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held on Thursday March 11, 2021 from 2pm - 4pm at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH 03064. A graveside service will be held on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W. Hollis St., Nashua, NH 03062. Family and friends are invited to attend. Due to COVID-19, those in attendance will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. The DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua has been placed in charge of arrangements.
