Robert E. Prince, 89, died unexpectedly at his home in Hudson, NH., Tuesday, April 21, 2020. He was born on August 2, 1930, in Nashua, NH. He was the son of Joseph and Delima (Bernaquez) Prince.
He was the husband of the late Marjory (Carter) Prince. They were married on September 1, 1951 in Nashua, NH.
He attended Nashua High School and graduated class of 1949. He went on to further his education through conferences and trade to become a Home Builder. He was his own boss until retirement.
Robert had a deep connection to his community through the Hudson-Litchfield Rotary, for which he volunteered for nearly 30 years. He will be remembered for his charity and mischievous sense of humor. He was also a proud Eagle Scout. It was in troop 258 that he nurtured his love of nature and the great outdoors. He enjoyed working outdoors in his garden later on in life. When he wasn’t working outside, he enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, and the company of his family.
Besides Robert’s parents and loving wife, Robert is predeceased by his son Steven R. Prince, sister Gabrielle, Carmel, and brothers, Louis, Marcel, and Albert.
He is survived by his daughter Paula Prince of Hudson, NH., daughter-in-law, Jill Prince of Hudson, NH., his granddaughters Lauren and Erica Prince of Hudson, NH., his siblings Pauline (Prince) Lamothe of Springfield, MA., Joan (Prince) Dobens of Nashua, NH. Paul and Helen Prince of Nashua NH., Maurice and Patricia of Lake Charles, LA., Peter and Carol Prince of Nashua, NH., George Prince of Wellington, ME., Jacqueline (Prince) Faucher and husband Louis of Londonderry NH., Ceclie (Prince) Todis Lane of Nashua, NH., sister-in-laws Mrs. Evelyn Prince of Tewksbury MA.,Mrs. Patricia Prince of Hudson NH., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
