Obituary for Sandra Lee Visken

Sandra Lee Visken, age 67, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2019 at the Connecticut Hospice House in Branford, CT. She was born on September 17, 1951 in Nashua, NH, the daughter of the late Walter and Marjorie (Erb) Visken.

Sandra worked as a waitress for many years in New Hampshire, Colorado and California. She loved to exercise, ride her bike, roller blade and enjoyed gardening, bird watching and shopping.

Sandra is survived by her sisters Susan Visken-Diaz and her husband Duke Diaz of Northford, CT and Deborah Visken of Nashua. Sandra also leaves behind her nephew Evan Diaz.

SERVICES: All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Sandra’s name are encouraged to do so to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate.

I went to Charlotte Ave elementary school with Sandy. We had the same winter hat that had sequins, very unique. She walked to school but I took the bus. I remember her long blond hair and what a friendly girl she was. So sorry to read that she is gone.
