Obituary for Susan Elizabeth Forgue-Collman

Susan Elizabeth (Griffin) Forgue-Collman, age 62, died Thursday April 23, 2020 at her home in Nashua,NH due to complications surrounding her long term illness. She was born on September 25, 1957 in Lowell, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Robert and Louise Griffin. She was a resident of Nashua since 1996 and previously lived in Tyngsboro, Massachusetts.

She was the loving wife of Ronald Collman, whom she was together with for 37 years.

Sue was an avid animal lover, from dogs and cats to farm animals. She was a horse enthusiast and was a member of various horse associations including American Paint Horse Association, Arabian Horse Association and the United States Equestrian Federation. She participated in Guiding Eyes for the Blind as a foster home for up and coming service dogs. Sue enjoyed watching her son and grandson play hockey and being involved in the horse world with her daughter.

She was a devoted and loving mother of her two children. She is survived by her husband Ronald and her two children, Lawrance Forgue and his wife Jessica Forgue of Castleton-on-the-Hudson, NY and Lora (Collman) Hedrich and her husband Evan Hedrich of Greenfield, NH; two grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Logan Forgue and Charlotte Hedrich; her sister Cynthia L. Meaney and her husband Thomas R. Meaney of Albuquerque, NM.


Services: There will be a celebration of life at a future date. To honor Susan Forgue-Collman please consider making a donation to an animal charity of your choice. Some of her favorites were MSPCA Nevins Farm, Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Home at Last Farm. The Davis Funeral Home has been placed in charge of arrangements.
