Obituary for Carmen Estelle Bergeron (Levesque)

Carmen E. Bergeron, 89, of Nashua, died on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Benchmark Senior Living at Nashua Crossings surrounded by her family.
She was born in Nashua on April 15, 1931, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie (Deschenes) Levesque.
Carmen was predeceased by her loving husband, Normand R. Bergeron, who died in 2004, a brother L. Raymond Levesque, two sisters and their husbands, Andrea Bosse and her husband Raymond, Simone Dube and her husband Lambert and Andrew Blanchette, a brother-in-law.
She was a parishioner of The Parish of the Resurrection and formerly of the St. Francis Xavier. She was a graduate of Nashua High Class of 1951. She later attended Nashua Business College. In her earlier years she was employed by Sanders Associates in the personnel department. Later, she was employed by The City of Nashua in the Elm Street Middle School Library, The Court Street Library, and retired from the Nashua City Hall Urban Programs Department.
During retirement she enjoyed reading, sewing and playing Dominoes on Monday afternoon with her friends but most of all she enjoyed and loved her family.
She is survived by one daughter and two sons, Renee Anne Bingham and her husband Dana, Philip N. Bergeron and his wife Anne Marie, Paul G. Bergeron and his wife Lisa; seven grandchildren, Jenna Renee (Bingham) Fino and her husband Anthony, Ashley Laura (Bingham) Callahan and her husband Ryan, April (Bergeron) Cummings and her husband Edward, Kelly (Bergeron) Fox and her husband Jake, Spencer Bergeron, Andrea Bergeron, and Alexander Bergeron and one great granddaughter, Karliah Cummings; four great-grandsons Edward Cummings, Beau Callahan, Bale Callahan and Hudson Fino, one brother, Jean Fernand Levesque and his wife Jeanne; two sisters-in-law, Constance (Morneau) Levesque and Yvette (Bergeron) Blanchette; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
The family would like to thank the nurses and support staff at Benchmark Senior Living at Nashua Crossings and Compassionate Care Hospice for the love, friendship and support during her time with them.

SERVICES: Due to current COVID-19 restrictions Funeral Services will be held privately. Carmen will be interred with her husband at the old St. Louis Cemetery in Nashua.
