My husband Ron and I moved to Candlewood Park in 1996. Ken moved here a few years later. When he and Ron met they became good friends. I didn't meet him right away, but Ron would talk about this guy, Ken Sprankle. I finally met him and we became good friends too. Ken was a true gentleman. He always had a smile for everyone, and he really cared about Candlewood. Every summer when we turned on the irrigation system he would let us know if it was working right. At the cormer of his Condo he planted flowers and lovingly nurtured a tree into growing. He truly loved his family, and was so excited when the latest great grandchild was born. My condolence to Ken's family. He was my dear friend. I loved him, and I will miss him . With Ken's passing, his family, friends and neighbors will all feel the loss. But, he is now at peace with his beautiful wife, the woman he never stopped loving, and, among others, he will see his good friend Ron again.

To Denise, Debbie, Rick and Jake and families, we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. We have so many wonderful memories of Neil Diamond concerts, following Ray Marquis, trips to the lake house , dinners , and just wonderful times with both your Mom and Dad. We hope you will always have your memories to share and look back on with love. May they both rest in peace together.
